Step up Marin!

It’s time to come together! Join Community Action Marin in person for our annual signature event, Step Up Marin! This is a time to connect in community and take talk about racial equity into personally meaningful moves for justice. This year, we are thrilled to welcome an incredible guest of honor, John Lam. Once a preschooler at our Canal Children’s Center, today John is a principal dancer with the Boston Ballet. John’s journey has been supported by incredible non-profits across Marin County, and we’re proud to welcome John back to share some of his story and inspire us all! Watch John’s Community Voices video, which premiered at last year’s inaugural Step up Marin! event. A bright spot of our time together will be honoring the 2023 Community Courage Award recipient. Nominated by staff and volunteers who have partnered with an individual who has put their values into action for greater success using the agency’s services and team of Success Coaches, this year’s awardee will inspire us all!
