Join the City of Novato Sustainability Program and community partner Sustainable Novato for a free screening of the documentary MINIMALISM! How might your life by richer, fuller and freer with less? "MINIMALISM: A documentary about the important things" examines the many approaches to minimalism by taking the audience inside the lives of minimalists from all walks of life -- families, entrepreneurs, architects, artists, journalists, scientists, and even a former Wall Street broker -- all of whom are striving to live a meaningful, joyful life with less. This light-hearted, funny, interesting, and though-provoking film is a must see for anyone looking for some inspiration on how to live a richer life while also reducing waste and consumption. Doors open at 6:00 and the screening will start at 6:30pm. The event is free to attend, but pre-registration is recommended at http://minimalismnovato.eventbrite.com. All attendees will be entered into a raffle, and ten lucky winners will receive a copy of one of the following books: • Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life • Everything That Remains • The More of Less We hope to see you there!
