Chef Daniel Kedan joins Fresh Starts Chef Events from Backyard in Forestville, which opened in 2012 to showcase the local bounty of West Sonoma County. His menu offers a taste of Backyard's Thursday night tradition, a local fried chicken dinner with all the fixings. Homemade Burrata with Heirloom Tomato Salad & Tomato Water Vinaigrette Brined Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Succotash & Braised Kale Agrodolce Buttermilk Panna Cotta with Fresh Berries Chef Daniel and partner Marianna Gardenhire met while students at the Culinary Institute of America. They opened Backyard to cook dishes with ingredients from local producers and artisans. Ticket price includes dinner; wine will be offered by glass or bottle. Proceeds support shelter and training programs at Homeward Bound of Marin.
